A little about us.
We are a family run, design-led team of Architects, Designers and Surveyors with over 35 years combined experience creating bespoke spaces for individual clients and developers around the world.
At the heart of architecture is people, but without a deep and nuanced understanding of the people who will inhabit our spaces, we risk creating spaces that exclude and alienate. For this reason, we have worked hard to build a practice that is inclusive, celebrates diversity and strives to create more equity through our designs.
We are passionate about the creation of spaces that work seamlessly to serve the people who inhabit them, and we take pride in our ability to creatively interpret complex briefs to deliver great outcomes for our clients.
We are comfortable working within tight time, budget and planning constraints, and each and every project we undertake is approached collaboratively, with passion, rigour, and integrity.
We are proud of our strong track record of high-quality design demonstrated through projects that have passed through planning processes and into the build phase, and the relationships we maintain with our clients long after the projects draws to a close.

EXPERIENCE
Originally studying at the Architectural Association in London after obtaining a degree in Interior Design at Chelsea School of Art (now called Chelsea College of Art - part of University of the Arts London), I went on to work for several practices including North East Regional Health Authority and London Borough of Lewisham, and lectured at institutes in Lewisham and Lambeth before I left to set up Bolans Architects in 1997.

Niyi Falase
Project Manager / Party Wall Surveyor

EXPERIENCE
After several years as a project manager in residential refurbishment and fit-out projects, I joined the practice to develop our expertise in party wall surveying. This has evolved into a wider project management role, especially with our new build projects, and as a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, I also specialise in producing schedules of conditions to use in Dilapidation, to calculate loss adjustments for insurance purposes, Party Wall Matters and Maintenance Reports.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Full home automation and fit-out in St John's Wood, including bespoke furnishing and security features such as iris detection on the front entrance door and bulletproof windows.

EXPERIENCE
I studied architecture at the University of Kingston, Oxford Brookes and the Architectural Association,and my previous experience has been within design teams at Sir Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners, BDP (Building Design Partnership), and Carey Jones Architects.
