CLIENTS / CONVERSATIONS

Client voices.

Architecture is collaborative. Rather than anonymous testimonials, these conversations let clients describe the creative process, construction experience and what it is like to live with the completed work in their own words.

UPSIDE DOWN MANOR

“The creative process will show you what's possible.”

Simon and Pollyanna describe working with Bolans on a project that asked them to rethink how their existing house could work. Their comments speak to the value of a design process that can both develop a client's vision and reveal possibilities they had not initially considered.

“If you've got a vision, or if you don't have a vision, the creative process will show you what's possible with the house that you've got.”

WE’VE BEEN CLIENTS TOO.

Living through the decisions ourselves.

Black Edge House was Lanre and Tope own self-build. Tope speaks from the homeowner side of the process — a useful counterpoint to the architect’s account and a reminder that drawings, choices, disruption, compromise and the lived result all form part of the same project.

THE PRACTICE

Clients are part of the architectural story.

The work is shaped through conversation, drawings, decisions on site and the realities of construction. Client Voices sits alongside our project pages so the finished architecture and the experience of making it can be understood together.
